Rich Layton and the Troublemakers

Hard driving roots rock – harmonica fueled and swamp-i-fied!

With a tradition of three chords and a bad attitude, powerful vocals and high-energy showmanship, The T-Makers dig deep into the rich musical gumbo of the Gulf Coast to serve up original Cajun rockers, Austin honky-tonk, rock-a-billy boogie and Texas roadhouse rock and blues.

From smoky bars to festival stages, The Troublemakers have one mission – to rock the house! Audiences respond instinctively to the electricity generated by five full-grown men playing every note as if their lives depended on it…because for the T-Makers, there’s No Parole from Rock ‘n Roll!

Speaker Minds, Featuring DJ FlipFlop

Randal Wyatt of the band “Speaker Minds” is a Funk/ soul music group.  The group leader is a Portland native who has had a passion for writing as far back as he can remember. As a child he would write short fictional stories provided with illustrations to bring to life his vivid imagination. He excelled as an English and writing student all through school, and began to express his creative mind through poetry and singing as a teenager. His artistry to sing and write fell to second, as his goal to reach the NBA grew in high school. After a series of injuries, the reality of reaching the NBA set in. Randal focused his energy back on poetry and rhyming, putting out his first album in 2005. Randal is highly respected for his positive content and contributions he makes towards the community he grew up in.

Randal has helped raise thousands of clothes, toys, funding, awareness, and food for multiple causes and organizations in Oregon. Jawbone Flats

Jawbone Flats, a five piece band stumbled into existence almost accidentally, as they were offered gigs based on previous bands, including: Stilltenders, Buds of May, Slowly Rising, Cloudsplitter, and Roadless Travelers to name a few. Some members are also in existing projects that are still going such as Wardaforce, Blue Moon Highway and others. They going strong, building on a lot of influences and the multi-instrumental nature of all positions in the band.  Jawbone Flats is a sound that’s meant to be heard outdoors with the sun shining and the crowd grooving.

Jawbone Flats is looking forward to a busy summer, which includes a repeat performance at the St. Joseph’s Winery.  But it’s Ecopalooza they’re excited about for a chance to help our local community.  Chris Martin especially likes the idea of re-purposing old computers for families who need them.
